After a three year break, it was wonderful welcoming so many family members back into school for a fantastic Sports Day. The morning saw our KS2 children competing in middle distance races, sprints, relays, ball throw and long jump and ended with a sing-along to Neil Diamond's classic - 'Sweet Caroline'. We even managed to squeeze in some races for our visitors and a staff race too (but the less said about that the better!). After a picnic lunch which saw most of us clinging to the shade, it was time to turn our attention to our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children as they took to the track for their races and a series of fun activities too. The children showed great sportsmanship across the day whilst competing for points for their respective houses. The Key Stage 2 event was won by Griffin House and Key Stage 1 by Phoenix. Congratulations to all of the children for taking part.
