Anti-bullying Week - 15th -19th November
Every year, we mark anti-bullying week in school. Time is spent in classes and assembly talking about the importance of treating each other kindly and respecting one another’s differences and individuality.
We talk with children about what bullying is:
- hurting someone else, on purpose;
- something that happens repeatedly (over and over again);
- not the same as something that happens once;
- hurtful in lots of different ways (not just physically).
We also talk about what they should do if they, or someone they know, is being bullied.
Tell a trusted adult.
Today the whole school were invited to wear our odd socks to show that we’re all unique and different. Pictured here is class 3P’s ‘One Kind Word’ display.
